Carlo Marchesi
He started studying classical piano when he was six, and went on for more than 12 years; at 15 he became a member of a few rock groups pf a fairly good level, making a good use of the classical formation in the field of symphonic rock of the early 70s. Afterwards, he co-founded some groups with which, as keyboard player and singer, he did entertaining music. From 1986 he has been a member of the Riverboat
Stompers Jazz Band, a well-known In 1993 he founded the group JazzMent Band, with which, as piano player and singer, performs a repertoire swing/mainstream, playing with some among the best soloist of the genre. In April 2001 he has started playing with the Milano Hot Jazz Orchestra.
